feeding station question
« on: May 19, 2011, 02:19:38 PM »
How far away do you put your mineral blocks from the food?  I'd like to have it all in the shot of the trail cam but, I don't think the two should be very close.  Am I wrong?

Not a big deal.  Remember these animals rank themselves and a little room will let the low doe (or buck) on the pole get a chance.  You can keep the violence down with a little space.

i find that the deer dont rely on the same items at the same times of year, they really like the salt until about september then after that into october they will ignore the salt and eat the alfalfa and other feed more. i do them in the same spot. but i do keep the salt in the same place every year.
