Late season gobbler down
« on: May 29, 2011, 10:41:41 AM »
Been a good year for me....got this second bird on saturday after I caught two springers in the morning, what a day!  Hes got two beards first one 10" second 3".  Just a beautiful bird.

Would love to get him mounted but starting at the top of his beard and going up to his neck most of the feathers are missing (blown off).  I picked up every feather on the ground....but am I screwed?  Hoping someone on this forum can tell me if its worth it for a mount or if anything can be done to repair the area as I do have most of the feathers.  Thanks in advance.

Vegetarians?..Vegetarians are cool.  All I eat are vegetarians....except for the occasional mtn. lion steak.
