By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

By the way, sherry has properties that mingle very nicely with mushrooms, especially morels and chanterelles. Throw some in the next time you cook some up. It's awesome.

Conifers that have been recently thinned. Lots of them will be in skidder tracks and open areas with forest grass. Starting in June, areas that have burned in the last three years will have morels that will come up into late July.

You wont find them on the West side. Your best bet is to head for Rimrock area now thru June. They go higher in elevation as the season rolls on.
There are morels on the west side but there as easy to hunt as the Wild pigs of the Wynootchie!

Not true. And, you can find them in the cottonwoods down by the river, too. On the west side. The ones growing in the conicas are around Trout Lake for example
