Already cant wait for next spring ....
« on: June 24, 2011, 07:06:48 PM »
yeah it really sucks now that turkey season has ended .. If I could hunt turkeys everyday I sure would . not that I need to kill many but just being able to call them in and enjoy the time in the field would work for me ... :yeah:

Love the turkey hunting. Deer and elk fill the freezer, but I personally just don't have as much fun as I do when I'm turkey hunting.

I agree I can't wait to get back out there next spring chasing birds...I'm not a huge big game guy so turkey hunting is kinda like my deer or elk.  I love calling those boys in hearing that gobble up close! I love it!

I love all types of hunting and fishing, but thunderchicken hunting is by far my favorite.

I hear you. The only thing that got me to quit thinking about turkey hunting, as much was drawing the Mudflow cow tag.Even that didn't squelch it completely, as I thought of scouting for the Elk hunt I also can't wait to scout some of that area for Easterns. That gets me just as excited!

Turkey has grown to be my #1 passion. I love hunting period but nothing winds me up like talking Thunderchicken. April's coming I know it!

Last nights fireworks reminded me so much of opening day of spring season ... lots of loud booms all day long.

I'd be more into scouting for those Easterns than the tag haha! Good luck!
