Its pot growing season ...guy does not have a gun so why would he be there in the first place and how did he find your cameras so easy ??

I don't get the logic in the "guy does not have a gun so why would he be there in the first place" part...
I go in the woods all the time without a gun.

Always carry a gun.  You may need one to protect yourself from those that accuse you of stealing their camera.

Every day I appreciate this site more and more. I never thought of that, thanks CP.

Jeez, the guy got his stuff stolen and was wondering if someone knew the guy in the picture.  If the guy didn't do it, then he didn't do it.  No need to be talking tough about it.  If the guy is identified then he will likely deny it but he'll know that someone is going to know his face in an area so hopefully he doesn't do it again.

He probably should have locked them up but he admitted that.  I have no problem about him asking if anyone knew this guy...Although I don't think he's going to get his cameras back and hopefully no one resorts to violence.  If you don't know who it is then you don't know.  No reason to give this guy a bunch of sh*t about it.

Anyway, good luck with the cameras.  I don't hang out in Thurston County so can't help.

Yep!  BTW...I will not resort to violence.  Unlike a lot of people I will not stoop to the level of the culprit that stole my camera.  Even though I would like to.  Just because I have a picture of someone in the area does not mean he is the thief.  However, he is only 40 yards from the where to the stolen camera was and it was not on a heavily traveled trail.

I had 4 cameras out total.  He just walked passed the one that took the picture.  If he saw it I am sure he would have stole it.

All you can do is speculate on what this guy did.  Thats all i was saying
You can make sure thats your cam??You can prove he dosent have a gun, so he's growing pot? Now i bet im the culprit because im bringing up facts.....

Like i said, sorry you got robbed, but you cant prove he did anything.

Thats a tough call. Innocent until proven guilty I guess. Sucks that your cam got nabbed. Looks like a remote area and you probably put it there since there would be minimal traffic if any. To bad the other cam didn't get a shot of the theft in process....would have been the clincher. Glad you still have the others.

There are many ways to look at this.  I have an idea on how to solve this problem...so stay tuned.  True, there is no direct evidence to prove the guy in the picture was the actual thief.  I think he was and that is purely my opinion.  He has camo on and a camo pack the looks to have my camera in the back pocket. That could be his camera, but that is one crazy coincidence for him to have the same style of camera.

One way to try to find the thief is to put up a cam overlooking the possible parking area to reach your area.  Of course you'd want to have the cam in a lock box.  It would be cool to get a front pic of him and a pic of his vehicle.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Thief!!  but apparently to some on this sight if you cannot prove it it is o.k.  Love the entertainment sometimes other times it is just downright pitiful some of the posts.
It's a TIKKA thing..., you may not understand.
