Great episode!

Definitely up close and personal...I don't think I would have been able to keep my composure together long enough to make that shot  Congrats to the good looking red head!!!  :chuckle:

I saw the montana episode today. it was nice. One thing I like was not a crap load of talking like some shows. couple things that I thought did not flow but they don't matter. you have a show and I don't so my opinion probably don't mean much.

the only thing that was kinda distracting to me was the transition of shots. Went form the hunter to the caller to the whatever. maybe it was me thou. I just got off a long work shift so who knows

I love the time lapses and scenery views!!! How you guys film the hunt is great! The magic triangle. Hunter,Animal,Hunter..Makes the best real life footage!!! that extra effort will take you along way dude!!! Keep up the good work bro!!

Haven't seen any of your tv shows yet, but borrowed a video the other day from a friend and enjoyed your footage. I saw some quality creativity in the editing. Keep up the good work.

So how do we watch these episodes if we don't get the sportsmen's channel?  Will they be available for purchase later?  I think there is a market for on demand episode viewing... say $2 to $3 per episode but alas nothing available as of yet.

I don't have that channel and it's killing me man! Like Estru I enjoy seeing the hunters. I don't mind hunter, animal, hunter and never realized it could be distracting to others until Ross mentioned it. On some shows I have seen where they split the screen in some fashion during editing with one half showing the hunter and one half showing the animal and that usually seems to turn out pretty well.

Yep, we do a bit of the split screen..
I think what Ross was refering to is how we went from hunter to caller to elk. I could see how that may have been to much.

As far as shows being available to those who dont have the sportsman channel - It is coming, We have to get all the shows wrapped up first though so we dont get our butts dumped off the network for not having them in in time.

I thought it was great episode and as a whole I would much rather watch your show than others.  I like the fact it's a group of local guys and gals, makes it feel much closer to the action.  Keep up the good work and we'll keep watching...

I got to watch most of the show (missed the first few minutes).  Liked that you showed and talked about having to sit and wait.  It wasn't the normal "we showed up at our spot and look here's the _______.  Schwack....nice shot buddy!!!"  It showed that there's downtime too.
I also liked that you didn't have to have MO New break up or Mothwing or whatever on from head to toe to be successful.   Some shows get on my nerves "I'm wearing the lastest camo from _____ I've even got the matching underwear."

Even with those big bulls coming I don't think I could have passed on that non typical.

Don't get me wrong I like the show. It is better than most.... I get annoyed with the commericalism in alot of shows but I guess you have to pay the bills. I am full of ideas for hunting shows. I thought about wanting to do one but just did not have the funds to start one. If you need some ideas give drop me a p.m

Hey Matt, I have had a chance to watch all your episodes; DVR is AWESOME!!! The Montana Elk was one of the more exciting ones for me. However; it just got topped by your Idaho deer trip. That buck you got was a stud. I grew up hunting in Idaho and have never seen a buck of that caliber and here you are just walking down a road "oh hey, there's a scrape" and then your cameraman was like "oh hey, there's the buck". I mean really, who has that kind of luck??? That buck was very impressive but you put in the time on foot to find them. As far as your show's are concerned with the filming & editing there will always be room for improvement. The most important thing is that you relate to your viewers; you hunt for the excitement and joy of hunting itself. Don't ever allow the industry to change you as a hunter.
