Chronograph Question
« on: May 28, 2011, 12:08:22 PM »
I've got a Pro Chrono. Like it. Very easy to set up, dependable and seems very accurate for bows and guns.
Dilema: When I shoot my field pt arrows thru it, I get accurate readings such as 289fps.
When I shoot a NAP or Slick Trick broadhead thru it, I get a false reading but it's very consistant. 2016fps.
Any one else have this happen? I'm guessing there's some reflection from the shiny broadhead causing the false reading. This happens every time I've shot broadheads thru it.

get a can of flat black spray paint put 1 or 2 coats on the broad head should not have enough effect to make any speed difference just kills any reflection issues
