Saved Myself $150 In Workout Equipment

So I was meandering around the internet adding new things to my workout routine and i found several companies selling these workout suspension straps.
http://www.trxtraining.com/page/000-94127/PROD/FTKMG1_5
I thought they were a novel idea with great potential for certain workouts with one substantial flaw, the price. I see several companies selling these for 150-220$ for some straps and handles. So i decided to build my own. I figured that the workout video that comes with several of the kits was also not worth the extra money because there are several videos online that i can view for free.
So I ordered up some parts
100' 600lb webbing 10$
2 workout handles 30$
2 small workout carabiners 5$
all from amazon.com and delivered in about a week.
Did i need 100' of webbing..... probably not, but imagine all the things i could do with that.
I went and measured up several anchoring points(door frames, pull up bars, squat racks, cable machine towers, heavy bag hook) and i found that i wanted it to be adjustable for use for anything from 65 to 95 inches. I wanted it to be fairly simple for use and adjustment so i tried to keep minimal separat parts of webbing. I ended up with a design that anchors to one handle and loops through the other coming back through a carabiner(i already had on hand) to an adjustment buckle that i already had on hand as well.
I probably could have built the handles as well for cheaper but there were a few logistical issues. If i used steel conduit it might wear throught the webbing at and exelerated rate, and if i used PVC it might crack under the lateral pressure.
I was even able to replicate the foot loops that come out of the bottom of the handles with a short leingth of webbing tied with a fairly small pair of knots that pull together and are still able to be tucked away inside the handle.
I only used about 200 inches of the webbing when it was all said and done and I am very happy with the outcome for about $45 in parts with lots of webbing left over for cinching my gear and my ruck together for going out on mission.

My Primary anchor point is a small loop of webbing connected to a 17kn omega pacific carabiner that allow the webbing to slide through with little wear. I can also attach the carabiner to other anchor points like the hook for a heavy bag.
I understand there are probably 50 ways to build this thing and this is only one of them. It works and it was cheap. The abdominal workouts are my favorite but it can destroy your upperback/bicepts.
