It was a good time.......I got to bs'n and missed one or two seminars that I wanted to hear...

I did not care for for mercer as a person,,,,,,maybe it was the stress that made him that way,,,,,He did sell a but load of traps
My partner in crime bought the two pack of the concealed  door so we could copy them.. but after looking, it is no more the a copy of John Schrouders with wire that can not be replaced with out grinding and re welding...

Can you replace the wire on the drop door....?

yes the door is a seperate piece and would be very easy to fix or replace my partner wants to copy them but the cam will take alittle work to get right.
I really liked the bear trapping seminar the mercer
seminar was ok I will go again but next time I will leave the call lure(skunk) outside not In
my partners wifes car.

It was alot of fun. Hanibal is right mercer seemed stressed. Probably from talking all day and trying to keep tabs on his kids. I thought Mercer did a good demo. I also enjoyed joel and bills cat demo from nevada. I did buy one of mercers swing door traps, looks and works real well. I see what your saying about the wire being hard to replace though, especially if you catch a long tail in it. A ton of used traps if you needed any. Mostly just catching up with old friends.

Yeah, It doesn't come with a handle, what do you want for $120.! Pretty easy to make one out of a piece of wire.

Mercer makes a 3 pack or a 4 pack, they all nest together. Some people don't care for the guillotine style door. So he came up with swing door. That comes in a 2 pack. He only sells singles on the swing door traps.
