My Dad always used a shovel. Packed the hill down and watched for when they dig. He'd scoop them out with a swipe of the shovel and wack 'em. He rid the whole neighborhood of them.
i need to get a picture of my buddies mole gismo ... It shoots a 12 ga. shell and it works awesome but do not want kids around it ... he puts a garbage can over it and you cant hear the shot go off ... works awesome ...he needs to make and sell the dang things ....

Got a few of them that way...usually it was more luck than patience Got one last year by flooding him out. He had been digging so I threw the hose down the hole and cranked it up. Next thing I know a mole is floating out of the hole gasping for breath. Quick smack with the shovel and I (or should I say it) was done
Just got two tonight, good old 12 gauge
Maybe the state should have a special permit drawing for moles for any weapons.
