3rd Annual Hunt-WA Head Entries
« on: June 06, 2010, 10:52:18 AM »
I've seen a few threads of spring bears harvested, if you want to participate in the competition, post your entries here.
An entry must include a photo of the animal, claimed score, general location of the kill, weapon used, and a link to your original thread.

Here is an entry example:

This bear was taken with a rifle in Western Washington and scored 18-7/16". Here is a link to the original thread.

These bears were taken by my son and me, early September 2010, with rifles, in Eastern Washington. Interestingly the taxidermist scored them each at 18 and 2/8ths.

Congrats to both Guy and 180-GRAIN who tied for first place in the competition. They will each get their name and information engraved on the trophy and will each keep it for six months. Also, all three entrants will  get a game call from R & R Game Calls.

Well done fellas!!!!

Very cool, temporary, addition to the man cave, that's a Chelan County man cave  :chuckle: :

Much credit goes to huntnnw who took me on the bear hunt! This traveling trophy is a pretty neat thing done here at huntwa. Very nice. Hopefully we'll get some real bruisers entered for 2011!

Glad it showed up in one piece. Of course there was enough bubble wrap around it to survive a 100 ft drop test :chuckle:.

Congrats again!!!

I hear the trophy made it to 180-Grain yesterday!

What a great looking trophy. My humble photos don't convey the true appeal of this work. It's really nice.

Glad it was at my place for a while.

Regards, Guy
