I guided a snipe hunt once.  Took a young lady snipe hunting when I was in high school.  Snipe hunting is tough though, she didn't have any luck.

I did.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I learned snipe hunting from my Uncle back in the Missouri Ozarks, it's a midwestern tradition, most folks up here don't know about all the great snipe hunting the NW has to offer.  Some of the best in the world actually.

Good snipe hunting in the Blues. Jim knows that and so does Pathfinder.
I know this may come out in this discussion, and they will likely try and cover it up. Don't let them fool you.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Oh shoot no I won't hide that. They are too quick for the sasquatch to catch, I'd be glad to take a newbie out. I bet I could get pathfinder to come along to.

My wife says I can't.
I think she heard the story about my single snipe-guiding-experience back in high school that I mentioned earlier... :dunno:

Heck yeah, like I said I can take you out. I'll talk to Pathfinders wife and tell her I am chaperoning. I'm sure that would work. If you are headed to Spokane drop Machias a line, I bet he would take you out.

Our duck/goose lease in Sequim has a lot of them, we just whack them when they fly by our ponds. One guy even uses his 10GA with #2s on them, I prefer a 20GA. :twocents:

All my boys LOVE snipe hunting.  For the best results, you need to whistle loudly as well...not sure if they've made a specific call for them yet??

I may have a picture of their adventure...not sure.

Was on a couple great snipe hunts when I was young... dad was always willing to point me in the right direction from bear camp, somewheres about 10-midnight, after he and the guys had downed a few cold ones...

Snipe hunting is always better after a few cold ones, and nobody ever seems to get hurt.

I hate google. I was working up this whole great plan
