Well im thinking bout checking out the area behind the 2 i82 ponds that is kinda by the zillah airfield for does/bucks. Has anyone seeing them back there? I would imagine they would be since its nxt to the 2 ponds and on the yakima river. This will be for sept archery.

Used to see them all over the river in that area.  I wouldn't leave anything of value in your vehicle when parking down there though!

don't think you will be alone in there.  I hunted it a few years back and there were guys everywhere!  Up in the tree's and beating the brush!  The rez side would be more productive :chuckle:

Last fall, I had a service call on the side of the freeway eastbound rite befor the first lake. As I pulled off the side of the road I caught a glimps of a hunter sitting in a treestand.
I've seen many deer in that area. I live in Zillah, and have past by there at sunset and see them all along the sides of the road.  Seen a STUD of a white tail, about 3yrs ago as I crossed over the bridge , heading south towards Toppenish.

Saw a huge buck this week right outside Yakima.  HUGE.  I was surprised as all heck.  Ran off the road, got yelled at by the Mrs.  Managed to keep all four on the ground.  Deer didn't even look up.  My remark.....course I don't have my camera.
