Swanny,Couple of things..First off, welcome to WA and welcome to the site.Secondly, you are asking for the best places around carnation for bears (basically, honey holes on your first post)....I think you will find better luck if you post something about your hunts, maybe post a few pics, and then in a few months, when it is closer to season and you've contributed to the site, you will more than likely have some success in asking for help.Research our bear thread, read up on the stories, the how to's, etc and you will get a good idea of what to look for. Get out and explore Carnation. You will more than likely find some great spots on your own.Find berries, no people, and you'll find bears.Good luck, looking forward to some of your pics, stories, etc.Cheers!

so do you only need the permit to drive on because I live about 300 yards from the hancock land so I could definatly walk on?
