Shot this one with my 300 mag. Average size about 250 lbs. 5 1/2 feet. 1st bear.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

this is this years spring bear taken out of the monroe unit it measured just over 6'5 and im guessing well over 350lbs. not a gooroo on bears but now how big he was to move around. no idea on skull size any ideas?

The bear I got a couple years ago was around 300lbs live weight and its paws where 5.5" wide, skull would have been in washingtons book but I cracked it :bash:.  when we pulled it up to skin it he was well over my head with his shoulders on the ground and im 6'1".

Yeah he was the biggest bear I ever got. We caught another problem bear last night he was a smaller at maybe 250 I might be giving him a little, when he was dropped out of the tree he ran right by me about a foot away in thick brush. It makes bear hunting a rush when your chasing in the dark.
