Did you get the casing sealed within 72 hrs. ?  per regulations?  I do not see any hunter orange, or a tag on that thing..  looks like you shot that on the wrong side of the mtns. to qualify, maybe you need to hike in farther to find a bigger chrony to shoot next time, not shoot from the road..  jeeeeeeezzzzzz

Every time I see one of those I can't help but wonder if those are designed to be shot so you have to replace them more often. Seems to me like they could separate the main electronics from the sensors with a couple feet of cable so you only have to replace a  cable/sensor unit instead of the whole chrono when that happens.

  I also think that one is not able to go into the record books. I think it's a hybrid  I think it was shot on the wrong side of the road and won't make the books

Sometimes the best way to inform the Chrony that it's give false results is to offer a demonstration of how fast the bullet is really going.

I have one that took a 260gr Accubond to the vitals at 300 yards. I just wanted to know how fast the bullet was actually moving at that range. It was a pretty bad time to pull the shot low.
