Bear Rug and Washington State Scull Mount
« on: June 05, 2011, 08:26:09 PM »
:) :)I just received my Bear Rug and Skull mount back from Michelle Nelson Taxidermy and I am very pleased with the work. I wanted to share with everyone here a look at some of her work and the cool Plaques she is putting together for skull mounts. She has very nice variations of this as well and I recommend you all give her a ring if your interested in doing something similar. Her attention to detail is exquisite to say the least. If you notice the lips on the bear rug you will see they have a slight purple color to them. My bear was a Berry bear and smelled like jam when we field dressed him. Michelle made sure the lips of the bear showed staining from the berries...

The picture on the plaque shows the exceptional buddies I had with me the day of the hunt and who made the whole hunting adventure truly rewarding. That is a whole nother story in itself and already told. The bear is 5'4" from nose to tail.

Thanks Michelle

I think that may be the best looking "trio" I've seen yet. I really like the skull mount, the plaque with the buddies and the state is sweet, and the bear is pretty nice as well. If anyone wants to share overall cost either openly or via PM I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

For those asking about the panels.... I can get all 50 states in several different types of wood.  The most popular wood is Walnut and Oak.  I can also get them in several different sizes.  PM me if you are interested in having one made.
