Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the pics. Whats the story with the live bear? Is that one you shot or another bear. Looks like a hog.

The bear that Dad arrowed was the large brown color-phased bruin in the trail cam pics.  A few days after Dad shot his bear we started getting trail cam pics of a big black color-phased bear on the same bait.  I spent 3 days hunting that bear, but he wouldn't come into the bait while I was on stand.  I decided to give that area a rest and hunt a different stand where we had 2 smaller bears coming in.  After sitting for 3 hours, to my surprise a very nice chocolate color-phased bruin came into that bait site. One shot from my Mathews bow and the recovery was only 50 yards.  It was a fun hunt and I look forward to doing it again next year!
