Primetime Outdoors Debut Webisode - Montana Mule Deer Hunt
« on: June 06, 2011, 09:36:17 PM »
Primetime Outdoors is releasing our debut “webisode!” We have decided to release the hunts on a one webisode per week basis. Our DVD will be finished soon and will contain all of the webisode hunts except for our last one. DVDs will be available for pre-order soon!

This hunt is a hunt in Eastern Montana for Mule Deer, but starts off looking at a couple nice bulls. The hunts can be viewed online in the Gallery of our website:  http://www.primetime-outdoors.com/gallery.php

All of your comments and constructive criticism are welcomed. Let us know what you think! You'll have to excuse the wind in this episode, as you'll be able to see/hear it is really ripping on this hunt.

Thanks Eric.  We are saving our 2011 celebrity turkey hunt for next season. :chuckle:

Are there any constructive comments?  We are striving to be better and have already started making changes for the upcoming year to bring even more quality footage.  Was the music to loud?  Did the wind get annoying?  We are trying to get a feel for what people would like to see in hunting footage.

I liked it, reminds me a lot of the terrain we hunt in Wyoming.  Just out of curiousity what rifle/caliber was the hunter shooting?

JPhelps is correct. It was a Remington 700 XCR in 25-06.

Music was ok..not too annoying.  I think some voice over or graphics or comments by hunter (green screen) about the hunt would cut the amount of time you have to listen to the wind.  All in all great footage.  Like all of the addtional filler footage we shot this spring. Some snow in a can, green screen and some hunter orange..get creative..LOL   Also in the graphics something about what county, public or private.  Something about over the counter hunt or by permit.  There could be some fillers that I would find interesting.  Weather report form the night before showing snow coming in ..etc.  But you guys got it all in the episode as far as the miss and kill.

Great first show guys!  Maybe do some voice overs or more talking to get rid of the wind and share a little more about what is going on in the hunt situation and things that have / are happening during the hunt.  Do you have one of those fury mic covers on your camera?  Those help reduce wind noise. All and all, good job and I look forward to watching more in the future!

Nice job. Maybe a little more on the actual scouting and other deer you saw.
Talk a little about the general area terrain, type of feed and general bedding areas where you saw deer. Mention the wind speed and temps experienced and length of shot. Maybe guys in the video introduce themselves give a little background and what and why they like to hunt.

The elk footage and a nice bonus. Nice to see footage of other animals when hunting

I saw birds flying by the bedded deer. Where those huns?

But a good job; not cheesy canned hunts like the majority of the shows on tv. Wind noise did not bother me and more realistic.

Again liked it

I liked it because the guys were dressed in normal hunting attire. None of that high tech movie star crap. Carharts, fleece and a gun. No scent coverup etc. Good job boys !!!!
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............
