Bow sights?
« on: June 08, 2011, 08:54:57 AM »
I have been looking for some new sights for my bow tech but i am not sure what to get.  I know the spot Hoggs are awesome but i was kinda looking for something a little cheaper.  I also like the Trophy Ridge Micro hitman 5-pin sights, but i don't know much about them. Any input would help, thanks

Check out the Sword line of sights...they are a very durable, well constructed sight for the price and they are a great company to deal with. I have used their sights for the last 3 years on the 3-D course and in the mountains in elk season and I have been very happy with them. Most of my customers are using them as well with the Centurion being the most popular.

I'm a big fan of Black Gold.  I have the single pin Ascent.  They have a wide range of sights and prices.  All are quality sights throughout the price range.

I don't have one of these, but want one.  I've had issues with pins being too bright during day and too dark at dusk.  Spendy though so I may not get one before this hunting season.  Also have the option of customizing (I like the idea of small pins for my 50-80 yard pins)

i have both sights and i like the hitman alot more than my spot hogg i dont have the wrap on my spot hogg so the hitman is way brighter and i like the glow in the dark ring on the hitman. when i get a new sight it will be another hitman for sure.

I have a small archery shop: "6 Point Archery" in Walla Walla.
Nothing wrong with Spot-Hogg sights at all..they make a very fine product as well..I just sell more of the Sword line and Brandon and the Sword crew have been great to deal with since I took on their line of sights.

I got a Copper John sight off eBay a couple months ago, and I see the same seller still has them up for sale. He has a buy it now price of $20, but he also has the "make offer" option, and I offered $15 and he accepted. Can't beat it for the price.
