longbows
« on: June 09, 2011, 10:44:30 PM »
To you longbow guys. I am by no means a longbow guy and don't know anything about them.  We have half a dozen old really cool lookin long bows.  Is there any value to them.

If you have model numbers and such, you could have collectibles.  Like early stuff from Bear or something similar.

1 of them is labeled a ben pearson super jet.  It appears to be some sort of white fiberglass like material, has an ivory look.  Another one says Colts Wood Master on it.  It is a finished wood bow, recurve I am guessing.  It has big curves where the 1st one is long and flat.  The other bows are like the first, long and flat but have no markings on them and are made of wood.   They look really old, who knows maybe great grandpa made em, not sure.  I can post pics later when I get home.

Go to e-bay and check. There are generally several hundred on there.
Lots of old bows. Most old bows are not really that valuable.
