Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9X40 at Cabelas Online for $199.
« on: June 11, 2011, 11:52:49 AM »
I just bought this scope on-line last night.  They have discontinued the elite 4200 model, so they are cheap, but places are running out.  I am going to put it on my Howa 1500 30-06.  I had a a Nikko Stirling Nighteater that came with the gun but it was a P.O.S.  I have been trying to develop a load for my gun and found out that every time I move that fast focus eyepiece on the back, my crosshairs would move.  At 30 yards, my crosshairs would move about 6 inches.  It was loose and it would wiggle back and forth and there was no way to tighten it.

The Bushnell should be here next week.  If you guys get it before the 13th, there is 5 dollar shipping.  Also, there is a mail in rebate that they will give you some rain gear.  I have looked on-line and people say that the rain gear is pretty good.  It is about $100 rain gear.    I just thought that I would share this with you guys.

I got some of the rain gear when I purchased a rangefinder a year or so ago.  Nice rain gear.  You won't be disappointed.

Doh!  :bash: :bash: :bash:

Guess I should have looked at the specs closer, different power between the two scopes is very visible in their specs. :tung:
