Bear Hole (454)
« on: June 11, 2011, 08:54:29 PM »
I think I found my area close to home for August. I counted 22 peels in an area about 1/4 mile long. This yrs and last year. Poo everywhere, lots of berries starting to become edible.

I put up a cam and will post pics in a few weeks.

Yeah I took a crap next to that .45 that the bear crapped out just to show the scale of the .45  :chuckle:

There was crap everywhere, its just thick as all hell. I had something big moving about 25 yards into the reprod and i doubt it was a deer. Yeah its a pretty good spot, some older cuts with good berry growth and somewhat newer cuts with good dark timber near,

I think there are a ton of predators in a lot of 454. This spot is not far off of I-90 near 460.

I wouldn't shoot that bear. I'd follow him around and pick up free guns.
