Do any of you have dual suspension bike and if so, how do they do with a trailer?  I am thinking about upgrading my old mountain bike and getting something a little more modern.

I use a single wheel Yak trailer it works well on single tracks

I use a burley kids bike trailer. worked well but needs brakes for descending hills.

i am in the market as well, the game cart was something i was thinking of as well, looks like it worked well, this is one i have been looking at on ebay. anyone seen or had any experience with it?

We usethat trailer for our deer camp. All in all it does pretty well, especilymformthe price. Doesn't quite hold the loads that the website claims but we just reinforced the bar that connects it to the trailer.  We packed out 8 deer quarters and two heads last year with it. I will try to dig up some pics later.

Here is a close-up.  When we tested it out in the summer with a load of rocks, the bar that connects to the bike bent in half, so we welded a more heavy duty one one.

I was thinking of purchasing a used trailer like that then stripping it down to the frame and creating a webbed bottom. Is the cover portion of the frame welded together or just bolted? I'm hoping they are bolted so I can remove them easier.

Akbowman..... they are bolted and riveted together. the load was to heavy for it, i have to repair it before this season. if i would have boned him out it might have been better.

These carts are 20 pounds and can carry 300 plus pounds. i know people thank the price is high but these carts aren't cheap to make. the tires alone cost around 200$. We dont make much money on these carts that's why its more of a hobby than a buisness at this point. And someone also mentioned something about innovation vs the price. On these carts we wanted the lightest carts that can haul the most weight. It's that simple.







Also mentioned was our site was not working. This is true. It's being redone as we speak. hopefuly it will be finished by tomorrow. If anyone has any questions feel free to p.m. me.

Yeah we can and do put brakes on them. I personaly dont use the brakes on the cart. I can keep it under control most of the time with just my bike brakes.

Here are some pictures of our setup that I mentioned earlier.  You can see the heim joint and the stops.  The stops are necessary for riding down steep grades brakes or not.  Learned that the hard way.

looks awesome.  just make sure that where you have the bar connected to the trailer doesn't bend or swivel.   it looks like the trailer with a load will be dangerous if it does.  good luck

No moving parts except for at the seat post everything else is either welded or pin connected
