Why so few tournements?
« on: June 13, 2011, 01:31:05 PM »
Why do we have so few tournements in this state?  How do we go about getting more?  I have just recently picked up bowfishing and would like to shoot a few but there are very few to shoot. I shoot alot of the 3d shoots and it would be cool to try to set up a series or something like that.  Just a thought.  What do you guys think?

There is more shoot now then there was a few years ago. the washington state bowfishing chapter just formed a few years ago. They have been working in getting more shoots here. The problem is with getting insurance for the shoot and you have to go threw the stuff wit prizes and donations and such. I would look into the washington bowfishing chapter.

How bout a tourney on the west side?  I know there isnt as much shooting over here but it would save some of us on some gas.

I am going to potholes on july8-11 If anyone wants to go they can come.  We can have our own fun tourny then.  I dont know where to go over there though.  We were just going to go explore for the weekend and maybe kill a fish or two.
