I've never seen a hug monster...but I regularly see some huge bulls in the Colockum
Wish I had that tag.  I'd probably have to take vacation from July to October.

there are some toads in there. we see them more often than not. just spend the time that you can and some that you cant. best of luck to you. we met the old man that drew last year. was out in 4 days with a toad. again, good luck and be patient

Wait....   There are elk in the Colockum?!?!?!

How did you guys keep it quiet this long?

But seriously, what a terrific tag for him to draw.   I wish him the best....... as long as he posts pics and a story.

Best tag in the state  :twocents:

 :yeah:

390 or bust...

I saw 1 really hug monster last year that I could have stuck with an arrow and several other 5X5's that could have went down as well.

You have to watch out for hug monsters.

There are no Hug Monsters in the Colockum.  Those are just decoys that the local guys from Ellensburg put out to scare the hunters that travel there to hunt their elk.   Those locals are very protective of "their" elk...  :twocents:

Not as scary as Bfoots, but non-the-less still intimidating when you come around a corner and one is standing there with a red rocket...wanting a hug...
Stay outta the Blues gentlemen. :twocents:

Dang-I wish there was spell check on this thing.  LOL

On a serious note, I did happen to see a huge hug monster but it was in the Bethel unit.

Spell check wouldn't have saved this thread.  Hug is a real word so it would not have been caught.

....and now, the thread is ruined.... :sry:
