Owyhee Oregon Mule Deer?
« on: June 17, 2011, 01:41:52 PM »
I was just wondering if anybody has hunted down that way before? My buddy and I drew the tag this year after 5 years of waiting. Any advice/places to start would be appreciated. Should be lots of fun regardless. Thanks

After putting in for 5 years I would think that would be some time to research the tag you put in for.

I have some ideas on where I should be but just wanted to see what others had experienced down that way.

You better pray for weather in Idaho we hunted it 10 years ago never saw a buck. Very disappointing hunt for the wait it takes to draw it. Saw some great Rams down there and a naked chick in the hot spring but that's it.
