I posted some live photos of a cougar (

). I've had a few sightings but this one at 35 yards was by far the most intense. It was stalking some deer and even though it kept on a bee line for the herd, was eyeballing ME for most of the time. I could hear it hiss but I'm sure not in all the detail you heard. Had its mouth open in all three pictures. Took my breath away.

Holy cow man. That's the exact reason why I pack a gun when ever I go out. I've heard numerous stories of close calls. Glad to hear you guys are okay. Way to close for comfort if you ask me. I'm also glad to hear you did the right thing by calling it in right away. Good on ya man.
