Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."

Send me a PM, I worked for the Forest Service for 3 years up there. If you pay for my time off, I'd be happy to show you where to go. Hell, I'd probably help you pack it out, if you paid for my time off.

Hmmmm, would this be considered "guiding"?

Who needs a license to drive around in the mountains? I just don't have any vacation time.

If you sell your service for guiding someone to an animal without first getting a guiding license, you are breaking the law.

There is no such thing as a guiding license in this state. However you would need a permit if hunting on National Forest.

Setting up an LLC, or Limited Liability Company, is also an easy, even cheaper form of liability proteciton. Usually a small filing fee, say $35-50, and have to post it in a business journal for a few weeks. Also helps if you don't comingle personal and business bank accounts.

I'm sure you'll be just a suprised as me if he calls.  :chuckle: I'll worry about the details if that ever happens.

In all seriousness that is a great place to have a tag, and any half blind Westsider should be able to stumble on to a decent bull.
