Once when i was hunting deer n modern, was by trout lodge. I dont really spend too much time in that area other than tieton pond for early season camping and camping at bear lake a couple times this time of the year. Other than that im usually at rimrock or lil naches.

as far as quads go you should talk with the forest service or fish and game becuz only a small area of bethel allows quads... and most of the little rattlesnake is closed due to flooding
the road is completely washed out and I have heard that they aren't going to fix it.  Budget thing.

As far as I know, you can access it via the devils canyon road from top and come down.  And BLRman, you are right. they are not planning on fixing the road unless they absolutely have to.
Quads are illegal on all forest service roads. However they are legal on all the state land.  The only place you can legally drive a quad on USFS lands is on the very few trails.

Does anyone know where the washout is exactly?

The little Rattlesnake is closed at the bottom.  However, you can go up the big Rattlesnake and come down to where they have it closed from the top.  I think its about a 3 mile section that is closed.

I was up Oak Creek yesterday and seen 4 good bulls.  All appeared to be approaching the 5 and 6 points catagory.  Hunt high and find the dark timber on the north slopes.

Drew that tag in 2006 and wasn't lucky enough to tag one but got into some real nice bulls. We camped up by the radio tower off of the jeep trail. Since it is not listed a FS road you can use a Quad on it.

I had the Quality hunt on bethel ridge last year for rifle. Are you hunting the Goose Prairie area? I know that area like the back of my hand if your interested in getting that tag filled?
