which bow

OK this is going to be a strange topic for me. i really hate getting into which is better but this time I'm at a lose. i have a 2008 pse spider and a 2010 parker sidekick extreme both are 40-60 pound pull 22-30 inch draw exact same set up both weigh around 5 to 6 lbs both are very accurate and both seem to shot very well the only difference i can find is the spider has alittle more of a let off but both specs say 80%. Ive done everything but draw names from a hat and i cant figure out which is the better bow  any thoughts or do i just draw a name

So you're  trying to decide which one to sell? Or which one to hunt with? Shoot both of them at a relatively long distance, with the broadheads you're going to hunt with, and whichever one shoots the best groups is the one I'd keep.

I'd keep em both and the one that shoots broadheads best will be the primary. its always nice to have a back up...... especially when your primary isnt a hoyt

I'm tring to decide which one to hunt with. see what happened is i found the pse at a really good price and i bought it with out talking to my wife well when i walked through the door at home she had a cabalas box and a new Parker so now i have a back up now. so the moral of this story talk to your wife before you buy new gear 3 days before fathers day

Sounds like you scored. Someone with an extra bow is always a good person to bring new people into the world of archery. A loaner bow is always handy to teach a newbie and you  still have a back up bow too.

I know that the PSE Spyder is an entry level bow.  I'm not sure about the Parker, but being just a couple of years newer it probably has more of the modern technologies.  Is the Parker a parallel limb?  If so it would be my choice.  In any case, quiet and accurate are my critia.

The broadhead test is a good one, also keep shooting both. One of them will start feeling better as you get to know both. Maybe at first they seem identical but after all summer one will come out ahead. Good luck , Mike

thanks guys., the parker feels alittle better. it also had a string stop on it that i didnt notice the spyder doesnt have
