I was just curious if any of you hunt the Roosevelt unit. I was talking to a friend about hunting this area this fall. Any thoughts?  8)

I've spent a bit of time running around Roosevelet looking for dogs.  There are decent number of pockets of state land if you don't have access.  Also, if you check out GoHunt, there are a good number of Written Permission opportunities to be had.  Just don't expect any contact info from WDFW, you gotta go get it.  Good luck, I've seen some toads runnin around there.

That makes things a bit more difficult. I hunt archery. Get a good map and study dnr and national recreation area property. Or knock on doors. If you pm me I will share more detailed info.
