One of the guys that I hunted in Colorado with last year had this tag a couple years ago and referred to it as " a good coyote hunt."    I don't think you are going on the same hunt as a Unit 40 hunt or will see the top end like 42.   In my past research, it looks like 160s is doable.

I have seen a couple of the bucks you have killed in the past in OTC units, you will do well in 41.

i have set the bar pretty high for this tag and plan to hunt 2 or 3 weeks, i think 190'' is the bar and believe any unit in idaho can produce that, but weneha elk will be 1st on the list.i dont mind burning the tags if it aint a real pig. STEVE you hunting 39 this year??there are real pigs there 2 and im not happy i cant make it this year

Darrin and I have been talking about taking bikes in for a week or so. We haven't decided on early or late yet. That Wenaha tag is going to be a good one
too. You hit the tag draw lotto this year.

Congrats on your tags and best of luck this fall!! hope to see some pics of big bulls and bucks on the ground. I have applied for that unit in the past and took a scouting trip down there once its some beautiful country.
