How did it go with the Warden? Did you have to walk through the whole situation, etc?

Hell that little thing just wanted to be petted :chuckle: He was probably just looking for a string and ball to play with. I hear when they hiss they are trying to make friends :chuckle:

On a serious note, glad you guys are o.k.

I posted some live photos of a cougar (http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,77294.0.html). I've had a few sightings but this one at 35 yards was by far the most intense. It was stalking some deer and even though it kept on a bee line for the herd, was eyeballing ME for most of the time. I could hear it hiss but I'm sure not in all the detail you heard. Had its mouth open in all three pictures. Took my breath away.  :IBCOOL:

Holy cow man. That's the exact reason why I pack a gun when ever I go out. I've heard numerous stories of close calls. Glad to hear you guys are okay. Way to close for comfort if you ask me. I'm also glad to hear you did the right thing by calling it in right away. Good on ya man.

Cool story, great shooting, good response from DFW. Nice!
