Just curious if the Weyerhaeuser gates are normally open in the Toutle over Thanksgiving. Thanks.

There were areas that were open last year. My partners brother had the tag and they drove to the same spot I shot a bull (I had a Toutle tag) the first day in that huge snow storm and shot a cow within 30 minutes......that was off the 3000 line..............Les

Hopefully closed. Weeds out the "hunters". Two years ago when my dad got a toutle tag, everyone was just standing at the gates complaining that they werent open. Him and my brother walked in and shot his elk within 1 1/2 miles of the gate.

Yes they will be open! The tree farm is always open that week due to the holiday. Don't stress about other vehicles, just park and walk old grassy spurs. Pm me if you need any starting points, we where in there last muzzy season.
