do you think redfield is any good

while I dont have any experince with their binos, my wife has a redfield on her new rifle and it has been great. clear doesnt fog easy hasn't lost its zero. but their rangefinders i looked at just did not seem to have the same clarity as the leupolds.

army trick, go to a camera store the anti fog they have for cam lenses is great, stuff i use comes in a white plastic contaner.

i looked throught hem while i was checking out the new meopros at basspro last fall. i was pretty unimpressed with both of them. it was dissapointing with the meopro but i didnt expect much out of the redfeild. The meopros werent built as nicely as the meostars but they were still clearer than the redfeilds.

these were actually the nicest ones in the lower price range and they are the same price as the redfeilds(cheaper than the meopro's.)

Find a local dealer and do side by side comparisons to others in their class.  test them by looking in shadows for light gathering capability.  Go outside if you can with several brands.  A good shop will let you and send a tech with you.  I tested the Redfields last week against the compatible Leupolds and the Leupolds won hands down.  That said if your budget is $150 then they are good.

There not worth more than $150 if you ask me.  Looked through some at cabelas the other day.
