Nice bull ... How many days where you out there?  Did you do alot of hiking or just driving and glassing?   We plan on getting out there soon and doing the registering thing.  Do you have an maps for the unit numbers everyone keeps talking about.  We have been trying to draw out here for awhile but usually get drawn for other tags so don't get this one but the wife was lucky this year so hopefully we get her on a nice bull.  Did you see alot of elk numbers or just here and there. Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks

My buddy shot a 7x9 about 7-8 years ago in there that scored 354".  It is a monster.  I've seen a few dandys in there while coyote hunting, but the numbers a down a bit.  Focus on the NW units and bring extra tires.  Good luck.

I drew an archery bull tag in there last year.  It can be a frustrating hunt cause the elk are scattered and it's so open.  I did tag out on the sixth day of my hunt killed a wide rag horn five point, nothing special.  Killed him in unit 10.   Take solid tires and two spares lol no joke!!!
