If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

I will try to post more as I get them. It is definitely a lot of fun to watch these animals on trail cameras.

Here are a couple of recent elk pics for you. Nothing big...but a handful are coming in during daylight and they are in an "any elk" unit. I also have a handful of cows coming in so hopefully these bulls stick around.

Yeah, not bad for me this year.  The one deer that did return this year that I had my eyes on has digressed from last year.  Guess he is past his prime.  The one new buck I got on cam this year that I really want only showed up once.  And one of the other new bucks that I got on cam early on in his growth I decided to give him another year to put on some tine length.  So I am still looking for some other bucks.

Deadeye is a stud this year and I hope to see him on your wall next year.

I hear you. I am still looking for other bucks too. I would love for my wife or I to take deadeye but I have always notice when I focus on "the one" I usually end up eating tag soup or shooting a doe for meat on the last evening of the last day. I would like to find "the ones" ....3-4 150+ bucks...that would make me feel a little more confident...that being said I do love almost nothing more than matching wits with one specific buck.

Even with the short tine length that one buck is really nice. He would definitely be hard to pass up unless you know that no one will take him.

Best of luck to you too brother.....I agree...very weird... I normally have no issues finding 140 bucks...this year I have only had one buck over 140 on camera and that is deadeye... I have seen a few 140 plus bucks in the fields but not  as many as I have seen in years past.

It has been a weird summer.. I am just now starting to get more decent bucks on camera. Not sure if its the new spots or just the right time of year?

I have several of the 150+ bucks on camera this year, but have found "the one" so I guess we are in opposite situations..
I may be willing to trade ;)

lol...right now I don't have much to trade. Deadeye has dropped off the map again. 10 days...no pics. I made some adjustments and hope to pick him up again.
