Easiest access is off Entiat River Road but you can also come in from the Lake Chelan side if there isn't too much snow. This must be an archery permit? I don't think you'll have any trouble finding deer. You should see plenty of does from the road. I'd say there's a good chance you won't have to hunt more than one day to fill your tag.

i would like to think this is a late archery doe tag, correct me if im wrong.  depending on the weather you may want to bring chains just in case. the roads are all pretty much in good shape but can get greasy in a hurry.  as said your easiest access will be off the entiat river road but you can also get in from lake chelan and a couple of other drainages.

in the past few years does that ive seen have all been running around the average to slightly above average range. and the numbers are pretty good, i highly doubt youll spend more than 3 days max trying to fill a doe tag.

do some looking on google earth to get an idea of where the roads are and where they lead, lake chelan is beautiful this time of year, id find a weekend and drop the family off in chelan and then head up the entiat, its only a 15 minute drive from chelan.

oh word of caution, is the steliko road looks even remotely wet id stay off of it, its really step and turns into a greasy slimey mess with only about a cup of water on it

I would just stay in Wenatchee. only 20 minutes and it will be cheaper then a hotel in Chelan.

Meat hunt. lots of does. should be able to get a hotel for the weekend in Wenatchee and hunt sat or maybe even sunday if you are going to be picky and go hime with meat in teh freezer.

Mud Creek, Crum Canyon, Steilco, Potato creek are a few access points off the Entiat River area to hit.

Have fun and watch the weather  ;)

My kids drew youtgh tags 4 times over there and it is the easiest hunt for does I have see.

anywhere to the right of entiat river road will take you to a doe...
south facing slopes,
wenatchee is 13 miles from entiat
should be fairly easy to tag out if you have any stalking/shooting skills

I filled my doe tag there last year. It seems a lot of the does that time of the year either are dumb, or haven't seen a human before because it is easy to get close, especially really early in the mornging.

Should be a particularly easy hunt and you shouldn't need to stray too far from the road.  Glass from the road and get out and put a stalk on the one you want.

As others said, just watch the weather and bring some chains.
