keep him kenneled and avoid that until you can figure something out. I too was in a similar spot years ago. Call WSU. They will typically help you out with stuff like this. Between the folks here on the page I'd bet we can probably organize a ride to WSU somehow if you can get in touch with them and get an appointment set up. You obviously have the internet. Goggle WSU Vet Hospital and get on the phone. They offered to do some treatments on my first Chessie when she got hurt about 10 years ago and I was out of work and didn't have the cash to get her to a vet. Great program and great people there but, again, you'll still need to do some leg work. I'm sure we can pull folks together here for some ride share to get her there if needed. Call WSU find out if they can help and keep us informed. PG
Don't know what to think about the wazzu reccomend......................they gouged the pee wadding out of my buddies old man for 2800 bucks for a barbed wire accident on a griffon..............under the guise of "Emergency" care on the weekend, had I been along the stapler would have been so hot you couldn't have touched it. Kulshan Veterinary in Lynden........way north has payment plan options with credit approval. you get some sort of health guarantee on that dog from the breeder? 1 year old is awfully young to start heading down the vet bill road.....................it's never gone good for me the farther down the road...it gets worse. Sounds VERY similar to the Hypoglycemia that my pointer had..............which pretty much makes the dog worthless as a working dog.Run till exhaustion then get wobbly drunk acting and have a freak out seizure.Didn't happen on the pointer until he was 5 but he was unhuntable at 7.The thing is that one thing leads to another in some cases and when you have problems at 1 year old be prepared for them to magnify into others as time goes on.
