I do not see where advice is being asked for at all.   

He's asking what we would do, not what he should do. Sounds like he already knows what he would do.

 I guess so. I'm not sure what the point of the thread is unless he's either looking to stir the pot (and it's well stirred on this one), or point a finger a someone who has fewer ethical constraints. I don't get it.
