A guy in our camp shot an elk last year that had a piece of arrow stuck in its neck. It was a spike but I bet if it had lived a couple of more years it might have developed a bump like that on its neck

my dad shot a 3pt blacktail that had a bump just like that, well he cut it open and a 22 bullet was the cause
