Picked Up My First 1911

Picked up my first 1911 Wed morning...a Rock Island Armory 1911 Tactical .45 ACP.  All I've managed to due is field strip and look her over.  I can honestly say I have no complaints what so ever.  Unfortunately, I won't have the time to take her out until next week at the earliest...but I'm oh so looking forward to it.

That's a nice looking handgun, I still havent bought a 1911 yet. I have looked at a lot over the years and shot many as well but still havent done it. I like my xdm to much 8)

One thing about 1911's, you can use them for boat anchors too, unlike 21's..... :chuckle:

Thanks everyone...I've been trying to sneak away to go shootin', but something else pops up.  Thankfully I'm on vacation for the next 5 weeks starting Monday  :IBCOOL:
