Which Camcorder?

I am in the market for a reasonably priced camcorder and was considering the sony HD touch screen for like $300.  Does anyone have any advice for a camcorder.  It will be used mainly to document hunting and wildlife.  Im just looking for something with good quality for a fair price.

I am in the same boat.  The only thing I know is to buy an HD and optical zoom is much more important that digital zoom.  If and when I figure out more, I'll let you know.
