Potholes
« on: June 24, 2011, 07:20:34 AM »
Anybody going to Potholes for the 4th of July weekend?

The wife and I will be heading up there to camp on the dunes.

Anybody know what the water temp is in the dunes?

I would guess 70s. Haven't been back there for a little bit.

There was no sleeeping involved the last 4th I spent on the Potholes.  Loud music and war hoops from all directions all night long!

Your not going to scout?  LOL  Fishing: I heard it was in the low 70's in spots and high to mid 60's in others.

this is my one weekend of the year to do a little of both!!

The whole family is going up to the cabin in the blues, I’d rather be there but the wife likes the relaxing, sandy beaches, warm water, yada yada.

Water temp is usually in the low 80’s for the 4th but she might not be quite as pleased this year.

my family and I will be up there partying it up! no fishing for me that weekend. just catching a buzz. we usually hangout in the lind coulee cove. bright red moomba mobius with the loud music. thats us! just talked to my neighbor that went last weekend and said the water was high 60s. with this weather we have been having it should hit 70s.
