Nuisance Call
« on: June 24, 2011, 10:13:10 AM »
Got a call yesterday on a mother coon and several babies.  I wasn't able to call them back until this morning.  They had decided to rent a trap and had already caught one of the babies and were going to do the job themselves.  I asked "If you don't mind me asking what did you do with the baby?"  Oh my husband took it out to Turnbull NWR and released it.   :bash:  Ma'am, first off your not supposed to relocate them, secondly if the folks in Turnbull find out you'll be in serious trouble and lastly you just condemend this little baby coon to a slow death.   :bash:  Oh we didn't think of that.   :dunno:

Last year a guy calls me to look at a hole in his roof and when I got up there it was a hole bigger than a basketball ..this hole has been there for along time.. so I ask him if I ould look inside the room where the hole was .. he said yes .. I about sh$t my pants when I looked up ... there was mold 1 in thick on the freaken ceiling and he says to me , its been leaking for awhile and sometimes I have to empty the bucket 4 or 5 times a day when it rains... :yike: :o lucky this is a one story house because what happened next was unbelievable and it was in June ...I climb up on the roof and start measuring up what I need to do to get this guy a new roof and as I am measuring and the hole in roof is to my back I all the sudden hear something behind me and as I turned around it was the biggest fricken coon I ever layed eyes on and next thing I know it is pi$$ed I am there and it came at me like it was going to eat me .. so I run as fast as I could to get to the ladder but it was on my a$$ in seconds so I JUST JUMPED... :chuckle: :chuckle: The owner yelling what the heck are you doing and I said you have a freaken coon living in your roof and he says THATS WHAT I have been hearing up there when I am in bed at night .... :dunno: it was a mother coon with babies and ya I did fix his problem ... that was crazy as it gets for a contractor trying to bid a job !!

This brings back memmories of the "sick balls coon" . It was a normal night of coon hunting with my step Bro (that now lives in N. Idaho) Struck a coon off this creek bottom we always hunt. Ended up treeing accrossed the creek in one of them HUGE Firs that has 12 inch through branches. Ended up spotting the coon about 20 tards uo. I kept trying to pop it from straigh below but kept missing so my step bro shot it from the other side of the creek. Never seen a coon so pissed, came down the tree straight at me (I was at the base of the tree  :chuckle:) Hissing and growling and was gona eat my balls  :chuckle: I emptied the clip (6 or so shots) as it was on its way down the tree , my step bro was laughing so hard. Always called that the "sick balls coon" Still talk s about that damn coon   :chuckle: Oh how I miss those coon hunting nights  :'(
