milatary wall tent
« on: June 24, 2011, 02:31:29 PM »
anybody out there use the military rubberise canvas wall tent during elk season east side?  My concerns are condensation but if you have found any other issues please let me know.   I use a cylinder wood stove with the pellet adapter for heat always have the wood for backup.   The size I'm looking at is the 16 X 16  Any comments would help.   I got a 12 X 14 but need more room

I string tarps over my hunting tents and that will keep it dry inside  ;)

:yeah:

The stove will do wonders as long as you have good ventilation which most of those tents had plenty of.  Mine had no floor so we carried some astro turf which allowed moisture through and kept things clean.

Make sure you have a battalion of guys to help you move that thing.  Took me three days to recover my back when I had one.  Dang thing is heavy.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
