buddy had the same problem traditions would not do anything after it was fired. they said it was a weak firing spring and sent him a new one for him to put in himself. also be carefull wth your muzzle control break action muzzle loaders have a problem with the firing pin sticking and the gun going off when the action is closed after loading it. nothing worse than 405 grn powerbelt blowing up up in your hands.

Got this for my daughter. I did have one cap that poped but didn't ignite the powder. Put another cap on and it shot fine since then. What I don't like is that we cannot use the standard brass capper for the musket caps with wings- it doesn't fit into the opening! Guess I'll have to look for a different capper.....?
