Say what you want, but I would put a Redneck up against any gangstuh in a drive by shooting. Gangstuhs spray and maybe hit one human sized target in 100 rounds. A Redneck can put a nice tight group in a deer crossing sign at 60mph.  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Just go up into the Entiat and follow the trails back into the wilderness.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Thanks for the info guys, I just ordered the book

Me too. Sounds like a really good book to have. Been hunting in Okanogan county for awhile now but you can never have too much knowledge.

I'm pissed. I bought this book off amazon and it never came. I checked my purchase history and it wasn't there. Now there is only one copy left but they want $300 dollars for it...  :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: I check and made sure when I bought it. It said it went through.... :bash: :bash:

No offense, but I own the book, and don't find it too useful at all. A lot of information that's outdated for today's herds. :twocents:

Their behavior has changed a lot. Back then you could easily go a day in mid Nov without seeing a buck. Nowdays, I can see 30 bucks a day in any NCW gmu  in mid Nov.

I'm not so much pissed that I didn't get the book. I'm more mad that they screwed up my order.

I dunno about that.. I think its not so much the deer changing behavior but the general season doesnt go from halloween until the end of November like back in the day (the time when you werent seeing 30 bucks a day). After the general season the deer go back and start doing their own thing again and that could be why your seeing 30 bucks every time you go out

im just saying the book is still useful in that you learn about their behavior in the way of: what they eat, the habitat they like ect.. I dont think that muley behavior which has evolved over geologic time will have changed in our small scope of existence
