If i remember correctly your not supposed to use bondo... don't dry very well...

As long as it is sealed propperly by the FG and mixed well, it is hard as a rock.

It's not some thing you want to leave exposed to the elements, but it's OK to use. It has fFG over it (a few layers) and will be painted when I am done. There will be no water getting to it when I am done, Unless I screwed up big time some where  >:(

i would have rather used Kitty Hair, but I all ready had teh bomdo in my garage, so i decited to use it and save some penny's.

OK, so I finished glassing it today and took it out for a test float  :chuckle:

Found a small leak in the back corner when I was on the water. When I got home, I sanded it down, glassed it again, and then decided to add an extra layer of FG cloth to the upper corner all the way down the boat, this area seems to stick out to me as the most likely place to leak, so I glassed them one last time, and I should be golden

Gonna paint it tomorrow and then it time to find the hardware I want to add to it.
The stability was awesome but  with out a keel, the flat bottom moves side to side more then I thought it would wile paddling. Gonna get a Kaiyak style paddle to see how that helps with the movement on the water.

Very nice! Looks like a fun project to take on. Have you decided what type of paint job/pattern you are going to go with yet?

About 65lbs.

I picked it up and carried it with one hand with th eboat on it's side. I will weigh it after it is all done to get an accurite  weight for it.
